After Eliot transitioned into the staffing industry in 1998 as an Account Executive with the Management Resources division of Robert Half International, his ambitions took him to another national staffing firm that places senior and executive level individuals in project and interim engagements. As a Division Director heading up their NY/NJ offices, Eliot was recognized as a top producer and ranked number one nationally for two consecutive years.
He had the desire to manage and develop his own business so he started Accounting Resources, Inc. (also known as The ARIGroup) with offices in NY, NJ, and PA. The ARI Group assists in placing Accounting & Finance professionals into projectrelated, temporary or permanent positions with Fortune 500 Clients like JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America, Liberty International Underwriters, and Dun & Bradstreet.
obtained an MBA from Adelphi University’s Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Science degree from CW Post University School of Business.
The majority of his career has focused on risk, specifically in Retail Banking, Private Wealth Management, and Insurance. He has established new and transformed existing operational risk management programs. John developed and successfully implemented risk management frameworks in international banking firms and large global insurance companies.
John is a frequent lecturer on operational risk management for the Financial Services Industry. He is a guest panelist at the Annual IBM Financial Services Summit. John has served on several senior level management steering committees focusing on risk including technology, business continuity management, and sales practices (Fiduciary Risk).
John managed financial accounting operations and directed the financial systems integration for numerous mergers and acquisitions, including three mergers of major US financial institutions. In his position as Senior Vice President and Chief Business Architect at JPMorgan Chase, he was responsible for developing a global end-to-end blueprint for the strategic financial systems business architecture.
Roy, as a Financial/Managing Director managed and directed the financial regulatory reporting function for JPMorgan Chase and three of its heritage financial services holding companies, which included the major mergers and numerous acquisitions and integrations. More recently, at Citigroup Inc. he developed and implemented a regulatory reporting quality assurance function to enhance the accuracy and completeness of global source data.
